Terms and conditions

ArmoryIndex gives compatibility answers worked out from manufacturer specs, listings by makers and retailers, and reports from other members. Every answer shows where it comes from and how well it is backed.

Answers are information, not a guarantee. Parts and replicas vary between batches, versions and clones, and fitting or modifying parts can damage a replica or make it unsafe. Check the reasons, check with the seller, and use your own judgment before you buy or install anything. Nothing here is professional or technical advice.

Airsoft replicas are regulated differently from place to place, including power limits and who may own them. You are responsible for following the law where you live and the rules of any site you play at.

You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live, and at least 13. Give accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what is done through your account.

One person, one account. Don't create accounts to get around a suspension, ban or rate limit.

You keep ownership of what you post: replicas, parts, fitment reports, comments, builds, photos, messages and feedback. By posting you give ArmoryIndex a free, worldwide licence to store, show, adapt and distribute it as part of running and improving the site. Moderators may edit, hide or remove content, and compatibility records may be merged into the shared index.

Please only post things you are free to share and keep to the rules of conduct below. If something you post is reported as breaking someone's rights, we may remove it while we look into it.

Product names, logos and photos belong to their makers. ArmoryIndex is not affiliated with them. Where we show a maker's or retailer's image, it is to identify the product. If you are a rights holder and want something taken down, tell us through the Feedback button.

Don't:

• post information you know to be false, or reports you have not tried or cannot source;
• harass, threaten, impersonate or abuse anyone, in public posts or private messages;
• post spam, advertising or scams, or ask members to take a conversation off the site to sell them something;
• share personal information about other people, or anything illegal, hateful or sexually explicit;
• try to break the site, scrape it at a rate that harms it, or get around its limits and security;
• use the site to arrange the sale or transfer of anything that is illegal where you or the other person live.

You can report content or a person from the page it is on, and report an error in a compatibility answer from the checker.

Moderators review what members add. Contributions from new members wait for approval; trusted members are published straight away and may be reviewed afterwards. We may remove content, restrict features, suspend or ban an account if these terms are broken, and we may do so without notice where we think it necessary to protect the site or its members.

If you think a decision was wrong, tell us through the Feedback button. A moderator will look again and reply in your messages.

Source and search links point to makers and retailers we don't control. We don't earn anything from them, we don't guarantee their prices, stock or accuracy, and dealings with them are between you and them.

The site is provided as it is and as available. We try to keep it accurate and running, but we don't promise it will be error-free or always online, or that any answer is correct.

To the fullest extent the law allows, ArmoryIndex and the people who run it are not liable for losses that come from using the site or relying on an answer, including damage to a replica or parts, money spent on parts that do not fit, or injury. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

You can stop using the site at any time. You can delete your account yourself from your account settings. We may end or suspend access if these terms are broken. What you shared in the shared index, such as replicas, parts and compatibility records, may stay so the index stays useful, without your name where the law requires it.

We may update these terms as the site changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters to you, we will say so on the site. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
